The Gathering

A Day That Has Been Lived

Action de Grâce is not an idea. It is a day that has been lived. Each year, people gather publicly in honor of Jesus Christ — worshiping, responding, and standing together in visible gratitude.

"How good and pleasant it is when God's people live together in unity!"

— Psalm 133:1

What to Expect on August 15

This is Not a Church Service.

It is not a concert. It is not a conference. August 15 is a day set apart – seven hours where a people gather in one place, stand before God together, and respond to what He has done.

What happens on this day cannot be fully described. It must be experienced. But here is what you find when you arrive.

THE ALTAR CALL

An invitation is given — clearly and without pressure. Those who are ready to respond to Jesus Christ are met where they are, with pastors present to guide every step.

THE TABLE

A meal is shared. Not a buffet — a table. Set with intention, shared in community, a living picture of what this day is about.

THE WORD

Multiple pastors and speakers bring the Gospel — clearly, openly, without compromise. Mini-sermons that cut through and land

TALENT & EXPRESSION

Gifted voices, artists, and performers offer their gifts as acts of worship. Comedy that makes you laugh and think at the same time.

BAPTISM

Those who are ready to make their commitment public do so — in water, witnessed by the community, shepherded by pastors who are present and prepared

PRAYER

The day begins as it must — in the presence of God. A collective prayer opens what words alone cannot prepare you for.

WORSHIP

Live music. A choir. Voices rising together without rehearsal or performance — just response. You will not be a spectator here.

What to Wear

Dress in white. This is not a dress code — it is a declaration. White is worn as a visible act of surrender, a people made one before the King.

What to Bring

  • An open heart — this is the only requirement.
  • Your Bible, if you have one.
  • Anyone God has placed on your heart to invite.

2024: The Beginning

Grace Found Me in New York

When Marie R. Paul St-Juste arrived in New York City, she came searching for opportunity. What met her instead was a call she could not ignore.

In a city that moves without pause, what had once been shown in private became clear — it was time for it to be lived openly. The same vision that had followed her for years now stood before her again, no longer distant, no longer symbolic. What was prepared was not meant to remain personal. It was meant to be shared. From that moment, everything shifted.

What began as small gatherings — prayer, worship, thanksgiving among a few — became the first expression of something greater. No stage, no structure, just people coming together, responding to God in one place.

That was the beginning. L’Action de Grâce was not built as an event. It emerged as a response. And from New York, the gathering began. The first table was set
